Water Supply
- Locate high yield water supplies in fractured aquifers using very low frequency (VLF) waves.
- Locate high yield water supplies in sand and gravel aquifers using terrain resistivity.
- Evaluate the geologic nature of wells via down-hole logging, using borehole geophysics
- View well characteristics with down–hole camera
- Map fracture patterns in bedrock aquifers using a combination of methods
Contamination Monitoring and Mapping
- Delineate contaminant plumes using Electro–Magnetic induction (EM)
- Map the path of contaminant flow in fractured media using very low frequency waves (VLF)
- Monitor ground water quality for real–time conductivity conditions using Electro–Magnetic (EM) induction
- Map Aquifer characteristics using a combination of methods
- Map bathymetry and other underwater features using sonar and GPS
Subsurface Geotechnical Mapping
- Locate and delineating tunnels, pipelines, and other buried utilities
- Evaluate and map the thickness and relative density of overburden
- Correlate the depth to water table with direct measurements in monitoring wells
- Evaluate and map the competence of weathered and unweathered bedrock
